June 25, 2009 NYS Senate = Hall of Shame June 24, 2009 - Thank you! Gov. Mark Sanford of S.C. ! I was beginning to fear the North was going to surpass the South in absurd government but no, it's not that bad yet. Gov. Paterson of N.Y. is here in the state, the legislature both Republicans and Democrats are acting like children but at least we have more of a semblance of government than the South Carolinians do.
