Filmmaker and cellist, Biana Kovic, will screen her acclaimed independent film VIRTUOSO at Jasa Van Cortlandt Senior Center on Thurs. Mar. 27th at 11:15 AM. This film chronicles the inspiring story of 89-yr old Matty Kahn who learns to play the cello for the first time.
Thurs. Apr. 10th, Tom Smith, the Sinatra singer who "sounds eerily like the original," will present his popular one man show: Broadway & Nightclub Sounds of New York at Jasa Van Cortlandt Senior Center. Mr. Smith is a master vocalist, pianist composer and bandleader. This event is co-sponsored by DFTA, NYC Dept. of Cultural Affairs and Bronx Council on the Arts. Yoed Nir, celebrated young cellist, and Anat, his accompanist, will perform a special Passover program on Thurs. April 24th at 1:00 PM.
